We recommend the following procedure for mounting the stud screws:
- M10 stud screws: pre-drill Ø 13 mm hole in roof skin and Ø 7 mm hole in wood
- M12 stud screws, Ø 14 mm pre-drill in roof cladding and Ø 8.5 mm pre-drill in wood
Stud screws should always be mounted on the crests of the corrugated profile sheets to provide additional protection against moisture. Stud screws should always be mounted perpendicular to the roof slope.
